Jean Deiana grew up in a tile factory and his passion began there. He started as an apprentice and then followed a professional training from 1973 until 1982 in "VERNIN CARREAU D'APT'S firm". He learned everything about the tile, from "handmade terracotta tile" to" semi-mechanical terracotta tile". This experienceled him to become a trainer and the leader of a new team.

Enthousiastic and passionate, Jean settled down in 1982 and created "les Terres Cuites du Luberon" starting with the handmade stone floor and then, building himself his own wood-oven. The arrival of Patricia Deiana brought to the company a real advantage to personalizing project with her own paint-brush decoration. Her talent for drawing, her sens of creativity allow any decorations possible.

Today, the company offers you many poducts in enamelled or natural terracotta, that this website invite you to discover. The fabrication is completely handmade, which allows a complete customized project for the customer. The raw material is natural (regional clay), and each tile has got the particularity to be unique. At the time of the mass industrialization and globalization it is a strong argument for who wants to stand out and is sensitive to the quality and the exclusivity of a premium product that comes from the Luberon, and more specifically Apt area.
